For the past few years we have been asked to create a montage of the athletes. Sizing, composition, colour and music bring this presentation together which is well received by athletes, families and sponsors.
When ever animation is mention everyone runs a mile and the price goes up. There are many programs that create 3d models and then create the movement and scene and then rendering. This animation for Woostar took a few days to make. I used four software programs to make it. The TV Ad ran on the Prime/7 Network and is now running in China.
The Claymore Laundromat is a meeting place for many locals. It is also a suburb with social housing and sadly some in the media and beyond look down their noses at it. People in social housing do not have a lot of money and many of the homes had no washing machines or could not afford to have them repaired. Then about 14 years ago with the help of St Vincent de Paul and others a laundromat and coffee shop were created. As well as getting washing and drying done locals had a place to meet and chat. Some years ago Julie Robertson wrote the lyrics for the song “The Claymore Laundromat” – and in May 2014 Appin Musician Jay Seeney created the music and recorded the song.
Two local actors Lee Copp and his sister Nicole Crowfoot jumped at the chance to appear in the music video. And with the laundromat volunteers they danced to the tunes of the song. We had sixty minutes to shoot the video and the team played their parts very well. My personal observation is that we have humour in every society we just have to give people an opportunity to use it.
Beautiful Minds is a local organisation that fundraisers for mental health. The group is made up of volunteers who make big change with little resources. When these people talk others listen. This video was a series of interviews with clients from Harmony House. The video is not for public viewing but was used on the special fund raising night. Know Ideas did not charge for this production.
For the past two years the Rotary Groups of Macarthur have asked us to create testimonials from the public with their kind words about our local police. Rarely do the police get to hear something like this and the words from the public are very much appreciated. This video interviewed over twenty people with short segments cut to produce a six minute presentation on the night.
